Choose from any of the followinng essential oils:
- Lavender is one of the most versatile oils in the aromatherapy world. With a soft, floral, fresh aroma, lavender is gentle, yet effective enough for nurturing tender areas through a challenging recovery process. Many studies show lavender’s main components (linalool and linalyl acetate) to have a restoring influence on the entire system—body, heart, and mind. Lavender also has a special affinity for the skin. It's known for its calming and relaxing properties.
- Frankincense has several benefits for skin care. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can help reduce the appearance of blemishes and promote healing of the skin. It also has astringent properties, which can help reduce the appearance of pores and tighten the skin. It's also known for its grounding and earthy scent and can promote a sense of relaxation.
- Sweet Orange - The enzymes in the orange oil keep the skin clean and blemish free. The oil has antiseptic properties that help to prevent bacteria from spreading further and leading to more acne. Sweet orange essential oil works well for all skin types: oily, dry, and combination skin. (It is not phototoxic, so use this citrus oil without concern in topical blends.)

Apply to clean, dry skin.
Use a spoon or spatula (provided with order for free) to scoop out a small amount of body butter. A little goes a long way so you don't need a large amount.
Rub the body butter between your palms to warm it up and melt slightly. This helps the butter spread more easily and ensures even coverage.
Apply to your skin by gently massaging the body butter onto your skin using a circular motion. Start with dry areas like elbows, knees, and feet, then work your way up to larger areas like arms, shoulders, legs, torso.
Focus on dry areas. Pay extra attention to areas that tend to be dry or rough.
Allow time for the body butter to absorb into your skin before getting dressed. This allows for moisturizing ingredients to penetrate deeply and hydrate your skin effectivly.
Reply as needed. Depending on your skin's moisture needs and the climate, you may need to reapply body butter throuhout the day, especially after bathing or washing your hands.
Following these steps will help you get the most out of your body butter, leaving your skin feeling nourished, hydrated and smooth.
